Guatemala Ministry

Cross Vision is excited to begin a new effort to support reaching the lost in Western Guatemala. We believe God has given us a great opportunity through a long time relationship we’ve had with Gary and Lily Stone. This couple and their family have been doing great commission work via the Southern Baptist International Mission Board (IMB) for over 30 years. After an early retirement from the IMB, they are working to build a support team who will pray and also give financially so they can return to Guatemala and partner with Cross Vision to continue much needed evangelism and church planting in this very lost Mayan culture.

Specifically We Hope To:

1.  Work among the Tajamulco Mam people group along with 22 other Indigenous  people groups in Guatemala as God directs.


2.  Make disciples, plant churches and train leaders in western Guatemala. Partner with other missionaries and work to finish the task of making Christ known in western Guatemala.


3.  Use Cross Vision relationship to facilitate teams who will come to Western Guatemala to support the work and grow in their own discipleship.
